Small Group Leader Registration
The small group experience is a critical part of Youth Strike for Christ. We are currently working on dynamic small group lessons and break-out sessions, and we need some dynamic leaders to help lead. It's fun; it's easy! It looks great on college resumes, and it makes an impact! If you are interested in being a small group leader, fill out the small group leader form and mail it in.

What do I do?
Youth Strike for Christ believes that our Small Groups play one of the most integral and important part in our weekend. And, we owe so much to our awesome adult volunteers who help with these lessons and groups!
Because of their special part of the weekend, we ask a lot of our Small Group and Leaders in forming bonds and relationships with their groups, encouraging conversation and discussion, and being open and honest. Specifically, as a small group leader you will do the following:
Orientation:
Attend small group leader orientation on Friday before YSFC begins.
Lead:
Lead 4 small group sessions with 10-14 youth throughout the weekend using easy-to-follow lesson plans.
7th & 8th Grade Lessons
9th & 10th Grade Lessons
Help:
Help with crowd control and activities as needed throughout the weekend.
Model:
Attend as much of Youth Strike as possible. We know you're busy, but as small group leaders, you provide a strong role model for these youth. They want to be around you, and they want to see you living out your faith.
Talk:
Remember 7th-12th grade? This is a time of incredible personal and mental growth! They want and need to talk about things and figure out their thoughts. They need honest and loving people to support them and talk through things.
Question:
No one has all the answers, but asking questions is an awesome way to dig deeper, open our minds, meet new people, and discover ourselves. Help the youth understand that questioning is a great tool and never to be afraid (of questions or not having the answers)!

All your meals, hotel room (note: you will share a room with 3 other small group leaders of the same gender), and admission to all Youth Strike for Christ 2011 events are included!
