YOUTH STRIKE for CHRIST MISSION 2008 The "My Change, Thy Mission" raised $1321.35 from all the church / youth group who attended YSFC 2008. The winning church / youth group was a tie between two churches. They were Kalona UMC and Palo UMC. The two group got together and decide to give the money to the Hillcrest Family Services. Spare change anyone? Cleaned out the car lately or checked under the couch? My Change, Thy Mission! This year at Youth Strike for Christ we are having a change collection to support one of Iowa’s local missions. Each church will be provided with a list of missions across Iowa, and one church will get to pick where the money goes! Who gets this privilege? The church that collects the most money per YSFC participant! In order to be fair to all church groups, the money will be based on a percentage, not on total amount; so to find out who brought the most per person we will take the total amount of participants from each church and the total collected money from each church. The Youth Strike for Christ team believes a vital part of our Christian life is serving others and supporting those who are in mission. On top of choosing this year’s mission for donation, the church group who brings the largest percentage of money per participant, that church will also receive the chalk art done at Youth Strike by Kelley Croy! So, start collecting that lose change to bring to YSFC! The following is the list of missions the top church will get to pick from as to where all the raised money should go to.
