Praise Band: Inner Rain

Each year, Youth Strike invites one band to join us for the whole weekend. They welcome us, give their own concert, and lead us in worship. Whether they are centering us for a meaningful time together or amping up the crowd, we are so excited for them to take the stage! Because the praise band stays the whole weekend, the youth and adults have the opportunity to interact with band members, purchase souveniers, get autographs, and get to know each other!

From heart-changing worship to heart-pounding rock, Inner Rain delivers a unique blend of all types of genre on their CD "Awaken Me." Songs that have a story to them and songs that make you think about who you are and where you're going. If you're looking for a band that reaches all ages, this is it!

Opening Band: Piercing the Darkness

We've lined up this fantastic band to kick off the Youth Strike weekend on Friday night. After you've checked in at the hotel, come on over to Vet's for the pre-show! Then, enjoy as they open for Inner Rain's concert on Friday night as well.

Originally formed in January 2007, Piercing the Darkness came together to form a band that has a love for music and, more importantly, a love for Jesus Christ. This Christian rock and worship band performs a variety of originals and cover songs. They have opened and/or played at the same events with Seventh Day Slumber, Remedy Drive, Disciple, Manafest, & Newsboys. Check out their website at http://splashsites.net/piercingthedarkness/.

Concert Band: Bright Light Parade

You always have something to do on the Saturday night at Youth Strike! Our concert band will get you on your feet with music to rock out to and a message you can believe in.

Bright Light Parade proclaims a powerful message of purity, servant-hood and seeking the Will of God in the everyday life of relationships, struggles, and blessings!  Each song’s lyrics delve into the depths of teen and adult life through a Christian perspective, and are the anthem of sisters Lex and Torre Anderson.  Their writing accurately describes the dance of emotions we all go through, but coming from the perspective of one pursuing growth in following Christ.
