bulletVOTA is the band.  Lisa G. and Jake L. agreed  to run their merchandise table.
bulletCore team need to get registration sent in ASAP.  Write CORE TEAM on the top of registration.  Core team is rooms are free as long as you share with 3 other people.  You can get your own room.  YSFC will pay $41.50 towards the room.  The rooms cost $166 for the weekend so if you want your own room, you need to send in a check for $124.50
bulletGenesis band is the opening band (From Ankeny) Same band as last year.
bulletReceived 700 free song download cards from Remedy Drive.  Everyone attending YSFC will get one.  Each card has 3 songs you will get to download for free.
bulletStill need entertainment for Saturday morning and Saturday evening.  Margo talked about some possibilities that she was working on. 
bulletThe Isisserettes were mentioned, but she was having troubles getting information from them.  Lisa said she would call and see if she could get the right individual to talk to Margo.

bulletKelly Croy has shown interest in coming back, although there are discussions about possibly having him as the main speaker next year.
bulletMission project -  Kerry and Brenda talked about having a bucket brigade.  She also talked about having a wooden bus that would be used as props.  We talked about focusing on a youth group for a church or youth center that was impacted in the flooded communities in Iowa.  We talked about placing a bucket in the skywalk during the Skywalk Golf Outing to help raise funds.  They talked about not necessarily announcing a winner but having all feel good about what they have brought for the cause.  They want the money even possibly turned in ahead of time or at registration so that we can get it counted, requesting larger bills instead of change, however Lisa can have money counted Saturday morning at her work.
bulletProgram booklet, similar to last year’s booklet.  The Publicity is responsible for making the book, Tina is going to complete this task for us.
bulletSupplies list, all team need to get there supplies list to the Publicity team.  Lisa will coordinate the supplies.  This way they will all be here local and will not need to transport.  Please get all supply requests in to Lisa as soon as you can.
bulletJared will contact Cokesbury to set up a table to sell stuff.  We talked about setting up the table in the main concourse to help in the table being secured.  Probably set it up close to the bands merchandise table.
bulletIce Cream – Blue Bunny agreed to let us “have” the ice cream.  We need to find a place to store it from Friday afternoon until Saturday night.  Lisa will talk to the Convention center to see if we can use their freezers.

bulletInflatable’s  -  Jim has quote from TJ Rental.  3 inflatables.  First UMC from Indianola will provide a group of 8 people to help setup, run and tear down.  Will pay this group $200 for their time. 
bulletSmall group lessons are coming along fine.  Not many supplies are needed.

bullet“Street signs” have been donated and ordered.  They will be given away at the end of the event.

bulletTina will be working on Registration.  Lisa and Tina will be meeting with the Hotel to work on details.

bulletWorking on menus for the weekend. We have looked through options provided by the Iowa Events Center and selected the options we like.  Lisa will contact them again to work on pricing and finalization.
bulletLisa will arrange for food for everyone on Friday night, except for the small group leaders.  Will need to get counts on what is needed.  Melissa will arrange for the small group leaders
bulletDeedee Sobotka will be putting together the registration packets again (need to confirm).  We want to be sure to include information about the parking.  Lisa will try to get additional information regarding rates.

bulletNext meeting Dec 6.  Talked about if we needed to have the January meeting at the site.  Most members are familiar with the site and was not sure that it would be necessary.  Parking would be free on Saturday.  Bob mentioned that we did have new Core members, so it might be helpful to them.  Last meeting is Jan 17 (mandatory meeting)
